A Manifesto of the Pimp Exclusive Club · Bangkok

The End of Priority.

No club becomes number one in Asia one step at a time.

01 — Priority is out

I am retiring a word.

The word is priority. It is gone from my company.

Not paused. Not renamed. Rebranded.

One priority is left. The man who walks in the door tonight.

Ranking the work sends a message. Some guests get looked after. Some wait their turn. I will not say that to anyone.

We were the best club in Bangkok for ten years. We slipped. We are taking it back.

Not one piece at a time. All of it. At once. With the best people I can find on each piece.

The tools of 2026 can carry that. My people can carry that. A ranked list cannot.

We are not doing one thing at a time. We are doing everything, all of the time.

The rest of this letter is how.

02 — The trap

“What is the priority?” is not a question. It is a trap.

I fell into it more than anyone. So take this as a warning, not a lecture.

It sounds careful. It sounds wise. Listen closer.

Somebody has already decided the work will not all get done. Now they want you to agree.

The moment you answer, you have agreed.

You just made their limit your plan.

Managers, it is coming for you too. From good people, on a tired day. Do not fall in.

Say this instead, and mean it: “We are doing all of it. Tell me what is in the way.”

Then go and get it. Another pair of hands. A freelancer. A better tool. An agent. A new supplier.

In 2026 the answer to “we cannot do it all” is not a ranking. It is a resource.

You have my approval in advance.

Be generous with your people. Pay for the help before they ask twice. Never make the work smaller in a meeting.

In 2026, “what is the priority?” is not a fair question. Not from a vendor. Not from a supplier. Not from us.

03 — The honest objection, answered

So we do everything? No — we do everything that matters.

Does every idea get built? No. That would be a worse club.

There is one test.

Does this make us the best gentlemen’s club in Asia?

Yes Start today. Beside everything else that passed.

No It does not get done. Not later. Not next quarter.

Everything that passes runs at the same time. Nothing is queued. Nothing waits its turn.

If it makes us the best, we do it. If it does not, we don’t.

04 — Why now

Because we can. Not everybody can. But we can.

Let me be plain about the year. Bangkok is thinner. Our business is about half what it was.

Some competitors do not need to earn. We do.

Then we lost a page with eight hundred thousand fans. Deleted overnight. No appeal.

The rules changed. Our guests did not.

Breakdown? No. Breakthrough.

I had these ideas back in 2015. I had no bandwidth then. I have it now.

Research tools. Mockups. Reasoning models. Teams that build while the city sleeps.

What we sketch on Monday can be running by Friday. That was not true two years ago.

We do not have to choose anymore. We build all of it and see what wins.

If the pieces do not fit the first time, we fix them. Better built and fixed than ranked and never born.

A small operator has no team. A big company has no speed. This club has both, right now.

In this business, optimism is a revolutionary act.

Set the goals. Do it all. Watch it make money.

05 — The attitude

Just start. All of it. Now.

The replacement for ranking is not another framework. It is an attitude.

We do not argue over what is one, two, three and four. We start. Then we fix.

For every project we ask three questions.

1

What is the deliverable?

Not the vision. Not “phase one.” The thing that exists when you are done. A working screen. A booked table. A trained host using it tonight.

2

What is the lead time?

Not “as soon as possible.” Not “next sprint.” A date. If you cannot give a date, the first job is getting one.

3

What is in the way, and what is your plan?

Every real project hits a wall. Bring the wall, three ways around it, and the one you would take. A problem to solve, not a reason to stop.

Three things we do not ask about

Cost

If the project reached you, the money is already decided. Lead with the plan. If the plan needs money, it gets approved.

Ranking

We want all of it. Everything that passed the test is moving at once. Nobody has to pick one.

“One step at a time”

One at a time, none of it arrives. We move on all of it at once.

Three answers in. One decision out. That is the whole system.

06 — What changed

The talent is free now.

We are show business. We put on a show every night. We build the show as we go.

For most of my career, talent was the wall. Designers cost money. Developers were rare. So we rationed.

Look at that word. Ration. It has been sitting inside “rationalize” the whole time.

That world is gone.

Ten agents now run at once on one laptop. They work while I sleep.

A landing page. A mockup. A whole system. Done by morning.

Nobody is short of hands anymore. Only nerve.

The only limit left is how big we decide to build.

07 — Where I disagree with the experts

Focus is for factories. We are not a factory.

Every business book says the same thing. Focus. Do less. Pick one. Ship it.

That works if you are building a car.

We are not building a car. We sell a feeling.

Feeling is a hundred things at once. The band. The lights. The host who says his name right.

Why ration a night out? Nightlife is not a science.

You do not build that by ranking. You build it all at once, with people you trust.

Do things that make your guests feel good. Fast. Do things that get you closer to them. Fast.

Build systems for your teams. Fast. Then do not listen to the experts. Listen to your goals.

I would rather be wrong for trying everything than right for ranking my way into a small life.

09 — The one priority

There is only one priority left. He walks in at nine tonight.

I took the word away from the work. Now there is one place left for it to land.

On the man who chose us tonight, out of every club in this city.

Everything points at him. Live bands from ten until three. Weekend shows. The most photographed pool in Bangkok.

Sixteen VIP rooms. A table for two at one end. A stage, a pool and a rain shower at the other.

A floor of women, every night. Chosen by the guest. Looked after by the house.

That is the easy part to describe. Here is the part he never sees.

He reaches for a cigarette. Somebody is there in ten seconds.

He drinks Moët. It is already on ice.

A smile at every corner. A floor manager who fixes the problem before the guest hears about it.

Then we walk him to the door. “See you tomorrow, sir.” And he comes back.

No list ever taught that. The key to this business is personal relationships.

Systems are how we keep that promise on a full house.

There is no priority on a Saturday. That is why Saturday works. It is the same every night we open. There is only one priority, and that is you.

This is the best I know how to do it. And I need help to finish it.

So I am putting my name and fifteen years on this page. No committee. No hedge.

Come to Bangkok. Walk in once. I want you amazed.

You. On the night you chose to come.

We are open tonight.
